Die K.ö.St.V. Nordgau Laa wurde am 19. September 1925 als „Katholisch Vaterländische Studentenverbindung Laa“ gegründet und war Mitglied im „Ostmärkischen Kartellverband“. Die Gründer waren Kottek, Temmel und John und gehörten alle der Vindobona I Wien im MKV an. Zu dieser Zeit trugen sie weiße Deckel und die Farben waren wie heute violett-weiß-gold.

Der Religionslehrer Prof. Rudolf Illek, der auch die Pfadfindergruppe Laa gründete, sorgte für einen Aufschwung in der Verbindung. Durch eine Meinungsverschiedenheit kam es 1928 zu einer Spaltung. Illek änderte die Farben und nannte „seine“ Verbindung „K.ö.St.V. Nordgau Laa“. Die Nordgau bekam blaue Deckel, das Burschenband war rot-weiß-gold und das Fuchsenband rot-weiß-rot, daher der Name „Blaue Nordgau“. Die „Weiße Nordgau“ auf der anderen Seite hatte nach wie vor weiße Deckel, das violett-weiß-goldene Burschenband und violett-weiße Fuchsenbänder.

Nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde die Verbindung 1948 durch Prof. Bischinger und John unter dem Namen „K.ö.St.V. Nordgau Laa“ mit dem Deckel der „Blauen Nordgau“ und den Bändern der „Weißen Nordgau“ reaktiviert.
Aus Mangel an Nachwuchs musst die Nordgau 1972 sistiert werden und es folgte 1982 die Reaktivierung der Verbidnung durch Dr. Wolfgang Rohr v. Totila als neuer Philistersenior und Alfred Böhm v. Napoleon als Senior.

Die K.ö.St.V. Nordgau Laa besteht in dieser Form bis heute.
